June 30, 2009 Update: The IRS is reviewing how best to simplify compliance with the current law, and has asked Congress for clarification on the tax consequence the University has decided to delay implementation of our previously announced plan to require all employees who use a University issued cell phone to account for every call by recording information about the call. more... DDD Letters:Standard forms for Call Logging are listed below (Not required by University at this time):
To help with routine calls, list all numbers you regularly communicate with on the:
Frequently Called Mobile Communications Business Contact List.
For all other incoming/outgoing calls, fill out the:
University of Connectucut Mobile Communications Device Usage Log.
Note: All information (bills & logs) stay in the department for IRS and State audit purposes.
