What is a PDA/SmartPhone?

A PDA/SmartPhone is a handheld computing device that allows you to make telephone calls as well as store, organize, delete, and access information. This all-in-one device can act as a cell phone, PDA, and portable web browser.

A PDA/SmartPhone allows you to:

  1. Make telephone calls (Cell Phone)
  2. Send and receive e-mail via your UConn Exchange e-mail account
  3. Track your Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks from your UConn Exchange e-mail account
  4. Browse web pages
